HKAE was established in 1992, dedicated to planning exhibitions and marketing activities, gaining recognition and affirmation from exhibitors.
• 1993~ Held the first International Hi-Tech Show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (the “HKCEC”).
• 1994~ Held the first wedding-related exhibition - Hong Kong Wedding Apparel at the HKCEC, a new concept highly praised by the public.
• 1996~ Increased to three Wedding Services and Banquet Expos annually at the HKCEC.
• 1997~ Increased to four Wedding Services and Banquet Expos annually at the HKCEC.
• 2000~ Held the Cyber Web Expos at the HKCEC.
• 2001~ Held the first Beauty and Fitness Expos at the HKCEC.
• 2002~ Registered and established Hongkong-Asia Exhibition (Holdings) Ltd.
• 2003~ Held the following representative exhibitions for the first time at the HKCEC:

Hong Kong Mega Showcase and Hong Kong Food Festival
• 2008~ Incorporated the e-Expo into the Hong Kong Mega Showcase.
• 2009~ Held the motor show and incorporated into the Hong Kong Mega Showcase during Christmas (later combined with the e-Expo and renamed as e-Expo & Auto HK).
• 2013~ Held the Interior Design & Décor Show at the HKCEC.
• 2015 to present~ Continues to hold a series of exhibition, including the "Hong Kong Wedding Fair", which holds 4 times a year and the "Hong Kong Food Festival", "Hong Kong Mega Showcase", "Hong Kong Homex" and "e-Expo & Auto HK", attracting over a million visitors annually.
• 2020~ Held the first large-scale exhibition after the pandemic eased, revitalizing the exhibition industry.
• 2025~ Registered as a Green Member of the ESG One community under the Hong Kong Productivity Council, fulfilling corporate social responsibility with ESG goals to create more value for HKAE and provide countless business opportunities for customers.
Local artists Lily Ho, Ava Liu and other models featured and showcased a selection of dresses from top designers to highstreet names at Summer Catwalk Show 2015/2016.
Gastronomic Paradise @ Star Kitchen at Hong Kong Food Festival was nice to have local artists Kitty Yuen and some others famous chefs and people stationed presenting new and signature dishes.
The Super Car Girl Contest came to a successful closing with all Car Girls perfectly geared for the stunning catwalk show. Special attention was the star-studded team of judge panels formed by local artist Rose Chan and racing driver Edgar Lau.
Visitors to Hong Kong Homex could have a chance to win over housewares and other favorable goods at the Charity Home Appliance Auction with bids staring as low as 10% of the original price.
We valued the good parts of handmade crafts and the act of creating, the D.I.Y. Workshop had some handmade lovers there to share their expertise in the means of workshops.
Over the past 33 years, HKAE has successfully held over 200 public and international trade exhibitions and various marketing events. The number of exhibitors, visitors, and sales transactions have significantly increased, achieving remarkable results.
