In 1994, HKAE held its first wedding-themed exhibition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), pioneering the industry. This innovative initiative received widespread acclaim. We successfully attracted international exhibitors from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Europe, Guam, and other countries and regions. During the exhibition, we planned a variety of activities, including a 100+ Couple Group Wedding Ceremony, the Asia Young Designers Wedding Gown Design Competition, and performances by well-known artists and singers. These highlighted activities not only enhanced the attractiveness of the exhibition but also became the focus of attention within the industry and society.

To meet the diverse needs of the market, HKAE actively explored more new elements in expanding multi-themed exhibition projects beyond weddings. And have successfully launched a series of high-quality events at the HKCEC, including the "Beauty & Fitness Expo", "Hong Kong Food Festival”, "Hong Kong Mega Showcase", "Hong Kong Homex" and "e-Expo & Auto HK". Among all, the "Hong Kong Food Festival" and "Hong Kong Wedding Fair" have developed into the most representative and large-scale annual exhibitions, attracting many local, overseas and mainland China exhibitor to participate. The number of exhibitors, visitors, and transaction records have steadily increased each year, with outstanding performance recognized by the industry.
